French Toast a la BrasserieLevy Chefs Ingredients1 loaf - French Baguette 1 jar - orange marmalade 1 jar - cream cheese 1 bottle - maple syrup 1 bottle - raspberry syrup 1 box - confectioners sugar Batter 6 eggs 1/2 cup - heavy cream 1/4 cup - granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon - vanilla extract
Directions1. Cut French baguette on an angle about 1/2 inch thick. 2. Spread 1 oz. of marmalade and 1 oz. of cream cheese on top of one slice of baguette. 3. Take a plain slice of baguette and make a sandwich with the marmalade and cream cheese as the filling. 4. Dip the bread into the batter making sure that the bread is moist throughout. 5. Cook on a griddle or saute pan on medium-high heat until golden brown. Flip and continue cooking until both sides are golden brown. 6. Place two sandwiches shingles on top of one another on a plate and top with confectioner's sugar. 7. Serve with Maple and Raspberry syrups. 8. ENJOY! © 2003 Levy Restaurants. All Rights Reserved.
